Lisa Jordan
My name is Lisa Jordan and I am the Centre Manager at Kindy Patch Maryland. I have a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) from Macquarie University and I have been in the Early Childhood Sector for 18 years. I am married with 2 small children and love living in Newcastle.
I am very passionate about early childhood education. I believe that all children are strong and capable individuals and that the responsibilities of early childhood educators are to provide an environment which supports and encourages children to learn through play. I believe that young children should have the opportunity to explore and create in a non judgmental setting where their ideas and thoughts are valued. I welcome families to become a part of the centre and hope to create an atmosphere which is welcoming to children, staff and families.
